Deadline for Sponsorship Scheme of Hajj for Overseas
Pakistanis Extended

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith
Harmony has informed that it has introduced a Sponsorship Scheme in Hajj Policy
2023 for facilitation of overseas Pakistanis. Deadline for submission of
applications has been extended until 07 April 2023. Through this scheme,
overseas Pakistanis can:

Sponsor himself/ herself or anyone else for Hajj without balloting.

Apply for Hajj even if they have performed Hajj in the last five years unlike the applicants in Regular Scheme

Out of the total Government Hajj quota, 43,308 seats have been reserved for this scheme which will be filled on the first come first served basis. Hajj fees/dues are required in USD to the Ministry’s account through the SWIFT banking system. Last date for submission of applications is 07 April 2023.

The competent authority has nominated Mr Umar Butt, Assistant Director (Media) as focal person for the sponsorship Scheme. The intending pilgrims having any problem in processing their remittance or application for Hajj 2023 may contact him. Contact details of the focal person are as below:
